The legacy of Radhika Jewellers is rooted in extraordinary resilience, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to purity. The story begins during the British Raj with Sri Sadhu Swarnakar, a generational goldsmith and revered freedom fighter from Surjagadha, Bihar, known widely for his exceptional craftsmanship and honest relationships with his patrons. In 1934, while attending a clandestine meeting to strategize against British rule, Sri Sadhu Swarnakar tragically lost his life when the building was bombed, leaving behind his nine-year-old son, Sri Jagannath Swarnakar.

Following years of hardship and diverse business ventures to survive, Sri Jagannath Ji felt a deep calling to return to his family’s ancestral craft. Following India’s independence in 1947, he began tirelessly saving and arranging funds to revive their legacy. In 1995, his lifelong dream was realized when he successfully established a handmade custom jewellery workshop, naming it in honor of his beloved wife, Srimati Radhika Devi Ji at Bhitriapada, Sundargarh.

Over the decades, Radhika Jewellers blossomed into a household name and a trusted pillar of the Sundargarh community in Odisha. For three generations, it has grown organically, proudly weaving itself into the fabric of countless family celebrations and becoming a timeless symbol of purity and trust.
